Obituary of Claude “Bud” Wynne Jr. Claude “Bud” Wynne Jr., 69, of Esville, our intelligent, witty, strong-willed, and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend was born into eternal life on January 10, 2019 with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bud was born on August 29, 1949 in Bay City, the son of the late Claude Sr. and Rita (Verhaeghe) Wynne. Bud graduated from Garber High School, class of 1967.

It was at Garber where he met the love of his life, the former Ashley Bowker. They attended homecoming together and after that, they were inseparable. Bud and Ashley were united in marriage on May 24, 1969, they were just four months shy of their 50th anniversary.

Bud proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971, during the Vietnam War. He retired from GM Powertrain in 1998, after 30 years. Bud was a member of the VFW and was the secretary of his bowling league for 20 years.

In addition to bowling, Bud enjoyed tinkering around in the garage, golfing, fishing, camping, tending to his beloved dogs, and sports-especially watching the Detroit Tigers. Our very own “Mr. Fix-It” will be missed dearly, but lovingly remembered for generations to come. Bud leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Ashley; their three sons, Scott (Michelle) Wynne, Brian (Theresa) Wynne, and Ken Wynne; he was the loving grandpa of Parker, Gavyn, Corbyn, Mallory, and Sarah; he also leaves, his sisters, Jeanneanne Walkowiak and Diane (Ned) Bryant; his beloved dog, Max, along with many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bud was welcomed home to heaven by his brother-in-law, Mark Walkowiak.
