Swartz, 79, of Loveland, CO, passed away on January 4, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Village in Loveland, CO. She was born on September 14, 1939 in Halifax, PA, to Walt and Ethel (Rowe) Keiter. She married Jack “Shorty” Swartz on March 28, 1959 in High Spire, PA; moving to Loveland, CO in 1965.

Shorty preceded her in death on December 4, 1990. She is survived by her daughter, Melody. Claudia had a long career at Hewlett Packard in Loveland, retiring in 1998.

She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church; her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She volunteered at Loveland Good Samaritan Village, where she later contentedly lived out her life. Claudia was passionate about dogs; volunteering at Crystal Glen Kennel for about 10 years.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 3:00-5:00 pm at Kibbey- Fishburn Funeral Home, at 1102 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Friday, January 11, 2019, at Trinity United Methodist Church, at 801 North Cleveland, Loveland CO, with a viewing preceding the service at 12:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, or Loveland Good Samaritan Village in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
