Obituary for Collin Patrick Measel Collin Patrick Measel, 15, of Downingtown, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 7, 2019. Born on March 28, 2003, he was the beloved son of Donald R. Measel, Jr. and Trisha A. Gaynor Measel. Collin was in the 10th Grade at Downingtown East High School.
He was a young man who always looked out and protected others and was the light in every room he ever walked into. He was competitive at heart, always down for a challenge and was usually better than all of us. He had a special place in his heart for our family dog and any other animal he came across, especially puppies.
In addition to his parents, Collin is survived by his sister, Lauren Elizabeth; his brothers, Bradley Austin and Evan Michael; his paternal grandparents, Donald R. Measel, Sr. and Peggy Fines Measel; maternal grandmother, Marilyn Nennie Gaynor; 12 aunts and uncles combined on the Measel and Gaynor families and 14 cousins. Collin was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Raymond P. Gaynor. Visitation at the Wm.
