Obituary for James R. Skelcy James R. Skelcy, age 84, passed away on January 8, 2019. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Mahar). Loving father of Donna Skelcy, Mark (Deanna) Skelcy, Brian (Tammy) Skelcy and the late James Skelcy.

Dear father-in-law of Linda. Proud grandfather of Jacob (Lindsey Vanderhoff), Julia, Allison, Caitlyn, Shane, Taylor, Connor, Tony and Zach. James was a 3rd generation member of the Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association and was active in local 514.

He also loved playing golf. Visitation will take place at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke), Utica on Thursday (January 10th) from 2 pm-8 pm.

Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anastasia Catholic Church 4571 John R. Road, Troy. He will lie instate at 9 am until the time of Mass at 9:30 am. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.
