Conrad J. Lagasse, 88, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania passed away June 20, 2018 at home with his family by his side. He was born on June 6, 1930 in Frenchville, Maine to Alsime and Egline (Rossignol ) Lagasse. He was retired from the United States Air Force and was one of the first computer techs in the Air Force and then worked for NASA for twenty years on the space shuttle program.

He was an avid private pilot and NASCAR fan. He had enjoyed being active in the Boy Scouts when his sons were members. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Helen F. (Behr) Lagasse and their four children: Renee (wife of Oscar) Galvan of Chambersburg, Joseph C. (husband of Ellen) Lagasse of Eldersburg, Maryland, Allen K. (husband of Connie) Lagasse of Harrisburg, and William C. (husband of Sarah) Lagasse of Spotsylvania, Virginia.

He has five grandchildren: Joseph C. (husband of Amanda), Brendan L. (husband of Hannah) Lagasse, Giordan N. Lagasse, Devin M.(wife of Chad) Kennedy, and Peyton L. Lagasse. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; Colton, Easton, Lilly Ren and Paislee. He has a sister living, Blandine Hussey and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters; Theresa Pelletier and Antoinette Martin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 27th at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, Orrtanna, with Rev. Dominic M. DiBiccaro officiating.

Interment will be at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Military Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations for the relief of the poor be sent to St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 1095 Church Road, Orrtanna, PA 17353. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg has been entrusted with conducting the services.
