Obituary for Ruth Miller (Lesher) Ruth Elizabeth (Lesher) Miller, 97, of Chambersburg passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Chambers Pointe. She was born March 31, 1921 in St. Thomas Township, the daughter of the late Abram and Ivy Pearl (Finafrock) Lesher. Ruth was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chambersburg.

She worked at Letterkenny Army Depot for many years and later retired from Sunnyway Foods in Chambersburg. She enjoyed embroidery, gardening and caring for her family. Surviving are her son Jeffrey Miller (Tambra), daughter Susan Marshall (Robert); two sisters: Theda D. Monn, Thelma L. Keefer; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sister in law Doris Lesher and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Miller, sister, Hazel Wise, twin sister, Ruby Byers and brother, Robert Lesher. The service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Sellers Funeral Home with Rev. Dianne Salter and Rev.

Donald Nolder officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service on Thursday and from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
