Lucille Rena (Albright) Leister, 90, of Chambersburg, and formerly of Hanover, PA died October 23, 2018 at Menno Haven’s Chambers Point Nursing Center. Born June 20, 1928 in Brodbecks, PA. , she was the daughter of the late Curtis Albright and Mary (Kessler) Albright.

Lucille was the loving wife of the late Harold Frederick Leister of Chambersburg, PA. Lucille was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Chambersburg, PA where she sang on the church choir, taught children’s Sunday school, helped with the clothing clinic and helped the kitchen both at church and at St John’s camp. She was a former elementary school teacher and enjoyed gardening and volunteering at the church.

Lucille is survived by four children, Jeffrey Lynn Leister and his wife Jane of Hilliard, OH, Frederick Harold Leister and his wife Lori of Chambersburg, PA, Wayde Allen Leister and his wife Sandra of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Lori Ann (Leister) Miller and her husband Brian of Hummelstown, PA; eight grandchildren, Kyle Leister, Michael Leister, Jared Leister, Karie Leister, Ian Leister, Megan Leister, Colton Miller, Weston Miller; nine great grandchildren, Christopher Hugendubler, Tejon Leister, Kyle Hugendubler, Damian Leister, Jazmin Leister, Nina Leister, Mason Leister, Aleeya Leister, and Alice Leister; two sisters, Marion (Albright) Hartlaub of York, PA; Donna (Albright) Staub of Hanover, PA. and a brother, Roger Albright of Lebanon, TN. The celebration of life service will be held at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1811 Lincolnway East, Chambersburg, PA at 11am on Friday, November 2nd.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover PA. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am before the service and a reception in Fellowship Hall after the service. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to St. John’s United Church of Christ 1811 Lincoln Way E, Chambersburg, PA 17202 or the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Harrisburg Chapter 2595 Interstate Dr. Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
