Rachel A. Scofield, 66, of Fannettsburg, Pennsylvania passed away October 10, 2018 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on February 1, 1952 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to Leslie and Anna (Mullenix) Parsons. She was the widow of the late Dennis J. Scofield Sr. who died in January of 2015.

She had worked at the Chambersburg Hospital where she had been manager for sterile processing. Her greatest love was her family. She is survived by her son, Dennis J. (wife of Jody) Scofield Jr. of St. Thomas, her daughter-in-law, Rachael Carlin Scofield of Spring Run, Pa.

, and her four grandchildren: Chelsea, Makayla, Hunter, and Brandon Scofield. She is also survived by four sisters; Mabel Stull, Virginia Clevenger, Martha House, Nancy Wildeson and two brothers; Leslie and Ronald Parsons. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Scofield II, two sisters, Donna Parsons and Patricia Moats and a brother, Floyd Parsons.

A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the Shady Pine Mennonite Church with Rev. Marlin Neil and Pastor Ryan Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
