Robert Wilbur Kauffman, 92, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away November 13, 2018, at Manor Care, Chambersburg. He was born on October 21, 1926, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, to Daniel and Beulah (Keller) Kauffman. He was the widower of Mary Ellen (Miller) Kauffman, to whom he was married for 69 years.

He was retired from T B Woods, Chambersburg after 42 years of service. A graduate of Chambersburg High School, Class of 1944, he had honorably served his country during WWII in the U S Marine Corps. Robert was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church, Chambersburg.

Robert is survived by: son, William Kauffman (wife Cinda); son-in-law, Donnie Besore, and two brothers; Ray Kauffman and Joe Kauffman; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: Dennis, two daughters: Debra Rubeck and Bonita Besore and three brothers: Harold D. Kauffman, Kenneth Kauffman and Lester Kauffman. The family will receive friends at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg, on Friday, November 16, 2018, from 10 to 11 AM.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home with Rev. Cathy Boileau officiating. Interment will be at Norland Cemetery with military honors.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
