Constance E. Peabody, 69, of Champion, passed on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born on February 23, 1949 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and Dolores Beckner. Constance was a 1967 graduate of Braceville High School.

After graduation, she earned her cosmetology license. She married Edward Peabody on June 14, 1969 in Bristolville, Ohio. She worked at Packard Electric, drove school bus for Champion Schools, and lovingly cared for her family as a homemaker.

She loved to sew and spent countless hours creating quilts and blankets for her family. She stitched love into everything she made. She found joy in making homemade gifts to give to family and friends.

Connie spent her summers tending her flower gardens which bloomed and thrived year after year. She was an excellent cook and effortlessly prepared large meals for her family. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing cards with friends.

Above anything else, she enjoyed spending time with family. Memories of Constance will be carried on by her husband, Edward; her son Edward M. Peabody of Florida; her daughter, Julie (Jeff) Geiss of East Palestine; her four grandchildren, Marissa, Samuel, Rebecca, and Jonathan Geiss; her mother Dolores Beckner of Braceville; her brother Larry Beckner of Howland and her sisters Susan (Bud) Precht of Frostburg, MD and Lori (Kevin) Harford of Leavittsburg. Proceeding Constance were her father, Edward O. Beckner and her brother, Edward O. Beckner.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 12th from 10-11 am, with a funeral service celebrating her life to immediately follow, at First Community Church of Leavittsburg in Leavittsburg, Ohio. Interment will be in the Braceville Township Cemetery. Be still and know that I am God.
