Edward L. Emerson, 80, affectionately known to his family as “Eddie”, passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, April 29, 2018. He was born the son of Theodore and Grace Emerson on August 14, 1937, in Point Marion, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia Emerson; his brother, Ernest Emerson, his daughters, Darlene Steiner and Edie Wjton; his stepchildren, Pete Connelly, Connie Emerson, Frank Emerson, Debbie Milo, Lisa Barger and Cina Laney.

Eddie also leaves behind his grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Champion Christian Church with a private family viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Meadow Brook Cemetery. To honor Eddie for his service in the United States Navy, a military service will be conducted by the Newton Falls Veterans Honor Guard and the United States Navy.

Arrangements for Edward were entrusted to Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
