John C. Brumbaugh, 73, of Leavittsburg passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018. He was born the son of Gerald and Mary Davis Brumbaugh on March 25, 1945 in Warren. John was a 1963 graduate of Newton Falls High School.

He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. John was employed as a machinist at Wean. He was of the Catholic faith.

In his spare time he enjoyed model cars and boats and was a collector of mechanical items. Cherished memories of John will be carried on by his son John (Jeannine) Bumbaugh Jr., his daughter Tammy Brumbaugh, both of Leavittsburg, his brother Frank Brumbaugh of the Cayman Islands, his sister Janice Wamer of Newton Falls, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Phillip Brumbaugh.

Family and friends may call on Monday June 11 from 10 – 11 AM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where services will follow. John will be honored for his service to our country by the US Army and the Newton Falls Veteran Organization at St. Joseph’s Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
