Clara Strickland Dugic, 84, of Newton Falls, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at St. Joseph Healthcare Center. She was born August 22, 1934 in Arden, WV, the daughter of Forest and Dessie Streets Marsh. Clara was a cook at the 10-4 Truck Stop, worked at the Warren Motor Lodge, and then as a press operator at Nymold.

She attended Paris Baptist Bible Church as well as other Baptist Churches in the area. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, shopping and tending her flower gardens. Cherished memories of Clara will be carried on by her son Odell Strickland of Atlanta, GA.

, daughter Melena Rose of Newton Falls, brothers Willie Marsh of Arden, WV. , and John Marsh of Newton Falls, sisters Sylvia Teter of Mathews, VA. , and Gwyneth Bryner of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

, grandsons Brian Strickland, and Mark Dishong, and four great grandchildren Kayden and Damon Dishong, Brian Jr. and Matthew Strickland. Clara was preceded in death by her first husband Odell Strickland, her second husband John Dugic, son Billie King, a brother Ira Marsh and a sister Rosetta Marsh. Family and friends may call on Wednesday October 10, from 4 – 6 PM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where a service will be held at 6 PM.

Clara will be laid to rest next to her first husband Odell at Floral Gardens Memorial Park in High Point, North Carolina at 2 PM Friday, October 12.
