Michele Jean Hildack Ice, 75, of Newton Falls, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, November 16, 2018. She was born on September 28, 1943, in Warren, OH, the daughter of Mary Furchak Hildack and John Hildack. Michele was a 1961 graduate of Newton Falls High School.

There, she met her husband Howard Ice, and fell in love. The two were married on February 16, 1963 at St. Joseph Church. Michele and Howard had three sons, Howard Jr., John and Brandon.

Together, Michele and Howard raised their family on Elizabeth St. in Newton Falls, and had a wonderful life together, until Howard Sr. passed away on February 7, 1992. Michele was employed for a time at Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio, as well as Dairy Queen, of Lordstown, Ohio. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed crafting, card games with her friends and grandchildren, and vacationing with her family.

The best trip of her life was the 10 days she spent with Howard Sr. in Hawaii celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. Many loving memories of Michele will be carried on by her children, Howard (Tara) of Toledo, Ohio, John of Cleveland, Ohio, and Brandon of Berkeley, California, as well as grandchildren Nicholas, Nathan, Shyla, Aliya, Ericka, Shannon, and Samantha. Preceding Michele in death were her husband Howard, brother Richard Hildack, and sisters Dolores Stoner and Betty Stempak.

Showing will be held on Monday November 19 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Borowski Memorial Home at 30 Ridge Rd. in Newton Falls, Ohio and also on Tuesday November 20 from 9 – 10 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will start at 10:30 AM at St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 20th.
