Kim I. Uhlin, 60, of Newton Falls, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at St. Joseph Healthcare Center. She was born the daughter of Joseph and Gloria Ballas Uhlin on November 25, 1957 in Warren, Ohio. She was a graduate of Newton Falls High School.

Kim was a member of the former St. Michael Catholic Church. Kim was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Although Kim suffered from physical disabilities she was never limited because of them.

Mention shopping, and she’s off and running with her long-time friend Richelle Drum. Kim had an inner strength-never give up attitude-that allowed her to live independently and create long term friendships. Myrna Frantz and Annette Clover met Kim as home health aides but became her best friends.

Annette was there to the end. Cherished memories of Kim will be carried on by her Aunts and Uncle Evelyn and Gabriel Ballas and Joanne Ballas, and Alexis Dittrich her former sister in law. Preceding Kim in death were her parents, and her brother Michael.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, November 14 from 9 – 10 AM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls. Services will be at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph and St. Mary Catholic Church. She’ll be laid to rest with her family at St. Michael Cemetery.
