Kenneth L. Cooke, “Kenny”, 72, of Newton Falls, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at his home. He was born September 21, 1946 in Wheeling, West Virginia, the son of Dorothy (Murphy) Cooke and the late Eugene Cooke. He was a graduate of Newton Falls High School.

Kenny worked at Warren General Hospital and then became a nursing assistant at St. Joseph’s Hospital where he retired after 33 years of service. He volunteered with Marlboro Volunteers and SCOPE Senior Services in Warren. He was a loyal Cleveland’s sports fan and enjoyed working in the yard.

Cherished memories of Kenny will be carried on by his mother, Dorothy Cooke of Newton Falls; uncle, Glen P. Murphy of Wheeling, WV; cousin, Vera Kay Murphy of Warren, OH; friend Ernest Paugh of Warren, OH and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Cooke. Calling hours will be held at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held immediately following the calling hours.

The family is grateful for condolences, but declines flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Kenny’s name, to the Messiah Lutheran Church, 4920 Fairport Rd. , Newton Falls, OH 44444.
