Constance Shipley Earp, 93, of Damascus, MD passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert M. Earp. Born December 18, 1924 in Damascus to Walker M. and Lelia E. Hilton Shipley.

Connie graduated from Damascus High School in 1943, and worked 37 years for the National Institutes of Health before retiring in 1980. She was a member of Damascus United Methodist Church where she was a dedicated volunteer at the Harwood House Thrift shop for 21 years. She is survived by her children Brenda J. Yankey (Merton) of Mt.

Airy, Richard W. Earp (Diane) of Mt. Airy, Bonnie E. Allen of Damascus, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sisters Audrey Snyder and Joyce Ferrell. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert M. Earp, son Larry A. Earp, sisters Virginia White, Ruby Brake and brother’s Walter and Samuel Shipley Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 2, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Md.
