Cora “Dottie” Davis January 28, 1948 – February 04, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Cora “Dottie” Davis, 71, of Troy, MO , passed away on February 4, 2019 at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab in Troy. She was born in St. Louis on January 28, 1948 to George and Vettie(Miller) Carter. After her parents passed away , Dottie grew up at the Missouri Children’s Home, it was there she was taught to be a hairdresser.

In the 1980’s Dottie and her then-husband Fred and step-son Steve moved out to Troy. Dottie loved to cook , read and spend time with her dog. She had been a resident at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab since 2008 and had made many friends there with the staff and residents.

Dottie is survived by her step-son: Steve and wife Jamie Davis of Rogersville, grandchildren; Shelby and Riley Davis also of Rogersville, brother : Clyde Dunn of High Ridge, sister: Clemie (Dunn) Mooney of Portland, Oregon, her devoted friend Virgie Geeding and her family , and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials – Memorials may be made to Donor’s Choice c/o the funeral home.
