Cornell’s Obituary Cornell Jennings age 71 of Ridgley, TN. died Friday, January 18, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg. Arrangement are entrusted to McCreight Funeral Home.

Cornell was a United States Army Veteran of Vietnam. Cornell received numerous medals and badges. He received the National Defense Service Medal// Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross//Vietnam Service Medal//Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal//Meritorious Unit Commendation (1 Oak leaf Cluster//2 Overseas Service Bars// Army Service Ribbon// Overseas Service Ribbon// Good Conduct Medal (7 awards)// Presidential Service Badge// Meritorious Service Medal.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 12:noon-12:55p.m. at St. John# 2 Missionary Baptist Church in Tiptonville, TN. Funeral Service will follow at 1:pm. with Pastor Perry L. Woods officiating.

Burial will be held in Citizens Cemetery in Tiptonville, TN. with Military honors. Cornell is survived by his wife Barbara Jones Jennings of Ridgley, TN.

Daughter; Darlene Jones, Elgin, IL. Son; Eric Jennings, Arlington, Va. , Sisters; Vanessa Harris, Sharon Garrett, Yvonne Garett, Teresa Garett, all of Cleveland ,OH.
