Imogene Campbell Abbott June 02, 1928 – January 10, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Imogene Campbell Abbott, 90, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at The Bridge at Ridgely. She was born on June 2, 1928, in Mountain View, AR, to the late Tollie T. Campbell and the late Audie Ellen Henderson Campbell. Imogene was a homemaker, an avid collector of carnival and depression glass and a big fan of Mickey Mouse.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg, where she was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union and a member of Ida Guthrie Sunday School Class. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Hickman officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Ben Abbott of Ridgely; a son, Charles Milo Abbott and wife, Kathy, of Dyersburg; a sister, Vanita Hay of Blytheville, AR; three grandchildren, Hollie Hudlow and husband, Aaron, of Lebanon, Betsy Hayes and husband, Josh, of Jackson, and Ashley Abbott of Nashville; and five great-grandchildren, Ethan Hudlow, Emily Hudlow, Ava Hayes, Henry Hayes and Abbott Hayes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Wayne Abbott. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church Building Fund or to a Missionary Fund at the church.
