Coy Lee “Woody” Woodall of Red Oak, Texas passed away on November 17, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. Celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 2:00PM at Driggers & Decker Family Funeral Home with Pastor Melissa Wooten officiating. Interment to follow at Red Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday night from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Driggers & Decker Family Funeral Home. Woody was born on December 07, 1931 in Cooper, Texas to Harvey and Etah Woodall. He was the oldest of 10.

Woody served his country proudly in the United States Army for many years. All his life, he was known to be an ambitious and hardworking man. When he set his mind to something he followed through.

During his free time, Woody loved to play golf, shoot pool and fish. One of his favorite places to go was the casino to play Mississippi Stud. Dressed in his lucky casino suspenders, Woody would sit at the table waiting for his lucky hand.

His sense of humor and loving presence will be truly missed by all. Woody was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Etah Woodall and his son, Ronnie Woodall. He is survived by his devoted partner of 31 years, Jan Kavanaugh; grandson, A.J. Woodall; great-grandchildren, Karsyn and Levi Woodall; brothers, Dick Woodall, Jimmy Woodall, Jacky Woodall, Tommy Woodall and Jerry Woodall; sisters, Sara Kesler, Jennie Clements, Katherine Petty, and Judy Brumley; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
