Dallas W. Craig, age 73, of Evansville, IN, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 20, 2018, at his residence. Dallas was born March 10, 1945, in Evansville, IN. He graduated from North High School in 1963.

Dallas proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. Dallas enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and watching them play sports. He could tell you anything about any car.

He enjoyed working on cars and retired from Kenny Kent after 30 plus years of service. Dallas was well known for his expertise in rebuilding wrecked vehicles. He loved playing card games with his family, singing country & western songs, and sketching.

Dallas is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sue (Ballard) Craig, daughter, Megan S. (Jason) Garnett, of Evansville, sons, D. Jason (Amy) Craig, of Carmi, IL, Matthew S. Craig, of Evansville, five grandchildren, Chaselyn Craig, Ashley Clark, Cooper Craig, Kennedy Craig, and Weston Garnett; sister Janet (Eddie) Seibert, of Newburgh; brother, Timothy A. (Carol) Craig, of Evansville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dallas Craig and Pauline (Eddington) Hurst, and his brother, Jess Fuquay. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July, 25, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Schwambach officiating.

Burial will be in Tupman Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
