Obituary for Daniel Allen Nathan FULLERTON–Daniel Allen Nathan, 52, of Fullerton, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018, at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Palmer-Santin Funeral Home in Fullerton with Pastor Tom Tambling officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Fullerton.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home in Fullerton is serving the family. Dan was born February 17, 1966 to Gerald and Darlene (Maybon) Nathan at Fullerton, NE.

He graduated from Fullerton High School in 1984. After high school, he worked at the IGA store in Fullerton. He purchased the IGA store in Genoa, NE and ran it for several years.

He returned to Fullerton and worked at Cedar Valley Lumber Company. He served on the Fullerton Rescue Squad. He helped remodel and open Home Variety in Fullerton and later owned this business for a short time.

He then started Sign Crafters in Fullerton. On September 11, 2010, he married Crystal Rehder. He enjoyed flying his plane, camping, fishing, his pets, traveling with Crystal, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his brothers, Steve (Donna) Nathan and Dave (Mary Pat) Nathan of Fullerton; in-laws, Lewellyn and Don Peterson of Smith Center, KS; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Tim) Kehler of Greeley and Rhonda (Terry) Fishell of Grand Island; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
