Danny Singleton, age 71, of Oxford, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018. A private graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Tucker. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Danny’s sawmill, Singleton Sawmill, located on his property in Oxford.

A native of Chamblee, Danny was a U.S. Army veteran and was a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Maree Singleton and his parents, Fred and Ollie Singleton. Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Clay and Chastity Singleton of Oxford; daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Glenn Wasson of Oxford and Beth and Justin Burgess of Monroe; grandchildren, Tristan Singleton, Haylie Singleton, Katelyn Wasson, Garrett Wasson, Rylan Burgess and Maddox Burgess; several brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins.
