Obituary for David Eugene Smith David Eugene Smith, age 56 of Round Hill, VA passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Loudon Hospital in Loudon County, VA, following an extended illness. He was born February 9, 1962 in Bluefield, WV and was a son of the late David Marcus Smith and Sadie Dean Smith. David was an avid NASCAR and Dallas Cowboy fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William Dale Smith. Those who survive to cherish his memory include his wife, Sherry Renee Voit-Smith; three sons, Andrew Marcus Smith, Jacob Emmitt Smith and Jeremy David Smith all of Round Hill, VA; one step-son, Steven Edward Viot of Round Hill, VA; three sisters, Virginia Irene Davis of Winchester, VA, Barbara Jean Sifford of Radford, VA and Charlotte Lee Wood of Highview, WV; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services for David Eugene Smith will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA.

Burial will follow at the Asbury Cemetery on Caleb Hollow Road in Pounding Mill, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA is serving the family of Mr. Smith and those wishing to express sympathy online may do so at www.
