Obituary for John Robert “Bobby” Mullins, II John Robert “Bobby” Mullins, II, age 66, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Richlands, VA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at his home. He was born in Richlands, VA and was the son of the late John Robert “Bob” Mullins and Mary Lynn Repass Mullins. Bobby was a lifelong resident of the Richlands area and was a graduate of Richlands High School Class of 1970 and was a graduate of University of Tennessee.

He was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Bobby was the former owner and operator of Mullins Ford in Richlands, Virginia. He was former member of both the Masons and the Shriners and had attended Community Heights Baptist Church, Gethsemane Baptist Church, and the Richlands First United Methodist Church.

Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, knew what a big heart he had. Bobby loved everyone and everyone loved him. His laugh was contagious.

There’s nobody in the world who could have a heart as big as his. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernie Mullins. Survivors are: Daughters: Adrienne Freewalt and husband, Don of Atlanta, GA Mary Lynn Mullins of Lexington, KY Son: John Robert “Tennessee” Mullins, III and girlfriend, Lauren Ferrebee of Lexington, KY Sisters: Toni Lawson and husband, Scotty of Abingdon, VA Susie Maynard of Bristol, VA Mary Ann Strong and husband, Brad of Richlands, VA Brother: Charlie Mullins of London, KY Special Nieces and Nephews: Amanda Pillion, Whitney Belt, Cecille Skeens, Ernie Maynard, Emily Johnson, Bradley Strong, and Reece Strong Special Family Friend, Lorraine Farquharson Also surviving are several great nieces and great nephews along with a host of family and friends.

Funeral services for Bobby Mullins will be conducted Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 2pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Marc Brooks and Jim Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at the Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be: Scotty Lawson, Todd Pillion, Brad Strong, Bradley Strong, Reece Strong, Jeff Brown, Mutt Hess, Gary Compton, Bobby Muir, Don Freewalt, Ernie Maynard, Tyler Johnson, Randy Belt, Josh Skeens, and Cody Ray. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Former employees of Mullins/Prestige Ford. Friends may call from 12pm until 2pm Sunday at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia.
