Obituary for Kenneth Richard Mutter Kenneth Richard Mutter, age 79, of the Belfast section of Cedar Bluff, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home. Kenneth was born on July 2, 1939 in Richlands, VA and was the son of the late Wayne Abraham and Ruby Francis Williams Mutter. He enjoyed spending time with members of the Belfast Rosedale Fire Department where he was a charter member.

Kenneth was instrumental in forming the fire department when he was elected to the Russell County Board of Supervisors. Kenneth also loved driving his Antique B-Model Mack Truck and pulling his antique farm tractors in the tractor pulls with his tractor buddies. Most of all, he loved being a farmer.

He was a lifelong resident of the Belfast area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Sue Mutter. He is survived by: His wife of 59 years, Elsie Shreve Mutter Sisters: Sandra Mutter Goforth of Merritt Island, FL Joy Mutter McDowell and husband, Jerry of Muncie, IN Special Cousin, Christine “Chrissy” McDaniel and husband, Dan of Wytheville, VA Special Caregiver and friend, Carolyn Whitt Special friends and neighbors, Jackie Robinson, Claude Johnson, Roger Holmes, and Bill Vencill Several nieces and nephews also survive along with a host of family and friends.

Special thanks to each and everyone who helped with Kenneth during his illness. Graveside services for Kenneth Richard Mutter will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Dale Mutter Family Cemetery in Belfast, VA with the Rev. James Sims officiating.

Interment will follow. Pallbearers will be: Members of the Belfast-Rosedale Fire Department. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
