Obituary for Norma Jean Crouse Norma Jean Hale Crouse 74 of Roanoke VA formerly of Grassy Spur section of Bishop, VA went to be with the Lord peacefully on November 6, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born March 11, 1944 in Berwind, WV to David Hale and Flossie Hicks Hale. She was a member of the Adria Church of God for 17+ years and recently a member of Grassy Spur Church of Christ, Grassy Spur VA.
She loved her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter but most of all she loved the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Claude D. Crouse, Sr. whom she was married to for 31 years before his death in 1992. He was truly the love of her life.
Sister, Brenda Hicks, brothers Bobby Hale and Raymond Hale also precede her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory children Claude D. Crouse, Jr. and his companion Rhonda May of Chesapeake, VA, Saundra Lynn Hall of Bedford, VA and Ronald Brian Crouse and wife Elizabeth of Roanoke, VA. Sisters Lucille Collision of Richlands, VA, Joyce Chandler of Wytheville, Va.
Brothers Allen Hale and wife Vickie, Mike Hale and wife Linda of Tazewell, Va. Sister Judy Crouse of Salem, Va. Grandchildren Christie Hall of Roanoke VA, Becky Orange and husband Tyler of Bedford, VA , David Crouse , Kevin Crouse of Germany and Hannah Crouse of Roanoke VA.
Great-Granddaughter Sydney Orange, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Crouse will be conducted at 1:00p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel, Tazewell, VA with Nelson Pendleton officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA.
Pallbearers will be Butch Crouse, Brian Crouse, Darin Neel, Jacob Blankenship, DJ Noble and Miles Hicks. Visitation will be 11:00 am – 1pm Saturday November 10, 2018 at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home, Tazewell Va. In lieu of flowers family request Memorial donations be made to, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept.
