Dawn L. Schuman October 4, 1961 – May 28, 2019 Dawn L. Schuman, 57, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:40 pm in Golden Living Center/Fountainview Terrace, LaPorte, IN. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Matthew Schuman Officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born October 4, 1961 in Michigan City, Indiana to Kenneth and Nellie (Magro) Schuman. Surviving are three Sisters, Mary Jane (Kenneth) Hedrick, Carol (Darrell) Cleek and Jude (Larry) New, all of Michigan City, IN; special nephew who was like a brother, Kenneth Schuman, II of Kingsford Heights, IN; and several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her Father, Kenneth Schuman.

Dawn enjoyed dancing, coloring, listening to music and loved Tony Orlando and Wayne Newton. She was a proud and loving aunt. Contributions may be made to the Share Foundation for the Handicapped, P.O. Box 400, Rolling Prairie, IN 46371.
