Deborah Ann Erb, 69, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 7:25 p.m., Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont. She was born January 8, 1950, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Doris (Stahlnecker) Chilcote Williams of Mifflinburg, and the late Russell P. Chilcote. On February 28, 1976, at the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church, with Rev.

William Pipp officiating, she married Roy Chester Erb, who preceded her in death in 1984. She was a 1967 graduate of Mifflinburg High School and attended Bloomsburg University. Earlier in life, Deborah was employed as a C.P.A. at BJ Tadeo, Williamsport, worked in accounting at the Plaza Shopping Center, Selinsgrove, a bookkeeper at Mifflinburg Motors, worked at Schnure’s Grocery, Mifflinburg, and worked as a teller at Mifflinburg Bank & Trust Co. Later, she was employed for more than 24 years, at Huntingdon Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, first as an office manager, and later as general manager.

Deborah retired when the plant closed in 2000. Deborah was a 52 year member of Mifflinburg United Methodist Church, where she served as church treasurer, financial secretary, and member of the administrative council. She was most recently a member of New Hope Bible Church, Mifflinburg.

For a number of years, she hosted a Friendship Bible Coffee in her home. Deborah was an avid reader and enjoyed all types of stitchery and scrapbooking. Surviving in addition to her mother, are three brothers, Daniel G. Chilcote of Phoenix, Arizona, David R. Chilcote of Berwick, and Christopher C. Cote of Lancaster; a dear friend, who has lived with Deb for over 30 years, Rosemary J. Ross of Mifflinburg; nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at the New Hope Bible Church, 310 Raven Lane, Mifflinburg, with Rev. Harry Harter, officiating. Memorial gifts may be made to either the Herr Memorial Library, 500 Market St, Mifflinburg, PA 17844, or the New Hope Bible Church, 310 Raven Lane, Mifflinburg, PA 17844.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd. , Mifflinburg.
