Della M. Vann, 84, of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, on September 8, 1934, a daughter of the late Wilce and Armenda (Hale) Allen. On May 24, 1952, she was married to William “Bill” Vann in Boone County, Indiana; he passed away on November 29, 2017, they enjoyed 65 years together.

Della attended Lebanon Schools and worked as a nurse-aide in local nursing homes and also was a home healthcare provider. She loved being surrounded by family, was an avid reader, collected porcelain dolls, and enjoyed watching the Colts. Survivors include: Seven Children: Vicki Vann – Lebanon, Indiana Billy (Debbie) Vann – Frankfort, Indiana Sharon (David) Snodgrass – Frankfort, Indiana Beverly Vann and companion, Terry Winslow – Darlington, Indiana Becky (Keith) Eldridge – Kirklin, Indiana Patty (John) Washam – Kirklin, Indiana Lisa Leech and companion, Kevin Leech – Lebanon, Indiana Seventeen Grandchildren Thirty-Six Great Grandchildren Deceased: In addition to her parents, Della was preceded in death by four brothers, Kelley Allen, Earl Allen, Charlie Allen, Everett Allen; sisters, Maudie Hale and Burlie Basil, and two grandsons, Michael Vann and Jeremy Horney.

Funeral Services are planned for Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2 at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Bethel Cemetery, north of Lebanon.
