Rebecca M. Blubaugh–Brown, 71, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. She was born August 15, 1947 in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Hiram E. and Betty L. (Cloutier) Blubaugh. She was a 1965 graduate of New Albany High School.

In January 1966, she was married to Ronald W. Brown; they later divorced and he passed away in 2011. Rebecca was a proud mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed growing her own flowers, especially daylilies.

Her love of daylilies accorded her Moderator of the Conservancy of The Mahieu Discussion Group. In addition, she enjoyed painting and making her own jewelry. Survivors include: Two Daughters: Christa M. Childers – Lebanon, Indiana Kathy (Jeremy) Wynn – Farmington, Missouri Three Grandchildren: Johnny Childers – Lebanon, Indiana Jordan Childers – Lebanon, Indiana Sydney Wynn – Farmington, Missouri Two Great Grandchildren: Presleigh and Jaidyn Childers Brother: Robert “Bob” (Dorit Anne) Blubaugh – Danville, Indiana Sister: Laura Potts – Radcliff, Kentucky Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie C. Blubaugh and Charles E. Blubaugh; and a brother-in-law, Rev.

Steve Potts. Memorial Services are planned for 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2018, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Burial of Ashes will take place at a later date at Hopewell Cemetery rural Lebanon.
