Kevin Eugene Smith, 51, formerly of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away February 21, 2019, at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana on June 19, 1967, a son of Herbert C. “Herbie” and Marilyn Y. (Baker) Smith. Kevin was a 1985 graduate of Lebanon High School.

As a skilled carpenter, he worked as an interior trim carpenter for Edwards Trim and The Trim Guys, both of Indianapolis. Kevin was a devoted son, brother and uncle. He loved the outdoors, golfing and fishing, and enjoyed playing the guitar.

Survivors include: Parents: Herbie and Marilyn Smith of Berea, Kentucky Brothers: H. Keith Smith of Lebanon, Indiana Kyle Douglas Smith of Berea, Kentucky Sister: April (Steven) Conard of Noblesville, Indiana Niece and Five Nephews: Sarah Smith Bryant Smith Douglas Smith Mitchell Conard Cameron Smith Matthew Conard Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation is planned from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home in Lebanon. Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements following services.
