Tifney Page Dillon–Miller, 50, of Zionsville, passed away late Monday evening, February 11, 2019, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, with her loving, caring and supportive daughter, Brittney Lynn Burns, by her side. Page had fought a 14-week courageous battle with AML Leukemia and fought it with the help of her daughter, her brother and all her many lifelong friends and family members to the very end. Page was born July 8, 1968 in Anderson to Diana Lynn Dillon and Charles R. Dillon.
Page had attended and graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1986. Page’s daughter was born in March 1988 in Lebanon. She and her mother were the very best of friends and this was proven by being by her mother’s side every step of every day of her mother’s illness and treatment.
Page’s mother, Diana, preceded her in death. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by her father, Charles, and a brother, Bradley Andrew Dillon of Pendleton. She was employed as the accountant and comptroller at Lyons Truck and Trailer.
She was blessed to have co-workers and employers who visited, supported, and prayed for her through her journey as well. All the wonderful, caring, supportive and compassionate doctors, nurses and chaplains at St. Vincent’s helped Page and her family through this journey and we can never thank them enough. Page was blessed to have had so many wonderful friends and family members.
It is truly at times like this that measure the lives that Page touched in her life. She loved life and all who shared it with her. Page was of Christian faith and also that faith was reconfirmed with her chaplain in the hospital as she again accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior.
Page’s family and friends thank everyone for their many prayers and support and wish you to know how very much it was so greatly appreciated and know she and they could not have traveled this journey without them. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation arrangements. No visitation or service is planned in the guidance of Page and her daughter’s wishes.
Best wishes may be sent online at MyersMortuary.com. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to contribute to the American Cancer Society in Page’s memory or to the charity of the donor’s choice. To all who knew and loved Page – please always remember: “It’s not what you do for someone at the end of their life but rather what you did for them in their lives as in that there is no comparison”.
