David Marshall Padgett, 72, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019, at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 17, 1946, a son of the late Forest ‘Mandy’ and Madge Padgett. A longtime resident of Boone County, he graduated from Zionsville High School.

David worked many years in sales and service at various places including; Van Camp Hardware & Iron, Indiana Insurance, Marsh Supermarket, and Target. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially all his nieces and nephews. Survivors include: Brother: James Martin (Beth) Padgett of Zionsville Sister: Anna Heaton of Zionsville Four nieces and nephews: Brock Padgett, Tony Padgett, Risa Petty and Niki Lee Two great nieces Five great nephews In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Padgett.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Zionsville American Legion, 9950 E. 600 S., Zionsville, Indiana 46077. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of the donor’s choice. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation.
