Michael Ray Padgett, 70, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019, at his home in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born in Lebanon on March 12, 1948, a son of the late Clifford Ivan and Julia Francis (Moore) Padgett. A life-resident of Boone County, he was a 1969 graduate of Sheridan High School.

Michael was a 32 year employee of the State of Indiana Highway Department. He retired in 2003. A devoted father and grandfather, he loved his sons and grandchildren dearly.

Michael also enjoyed the companionship of his dogs. He was a member of the Lebanon Eagles. Survivors include: Two Sons: Nicholas M. Padgett of Lebanon William Thomas (Kayla) Padgett of Lebanon Thirteen Grandchildren Brother: Larry T. (Rita) Padgett of Lebanon Two Sisters: Roselle McKinney of Lebanon Donna Biddle of Lebanon Many nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
