Bonnie Sue Pfister September 05, 1950 – January 15, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Bonnie Sue Pfister, 68, of Whitestown, passed away Jan. 15, 2019, at Life’s Journey Hospice in Avon. Bonnie was born Sep.

5, 1950, in Goodland, IN, a daughter of the late Arthur William and Eunice “Bea” Beatrice (Minick) Alexander. She married Victor Pfister on Dec. 18, 1971, and they were married for 47 years.

He passed away on May 28, 2018. Bonnie was a devoted mother and homemaker. She enjoyed volunteering as a CYO coach, and room mom for her kids during their elementary school years.

Bonnie and Vic were long time members of St. Gabriel Parish until moving to Whitestown, IN and joining St. Joseph’s Parish in Lebanon, IN. They will be long remembered for their selfless service to these parishes and the community. Bonnie was artistic and will be remembered for her thoughtful homemade gifts.

She loved sharing her art with others and went back to school, completing her art education degree at Saint Mary of the Woods, Terre Haute in 2011. She went on to teach at two Archdiocese of Indianapolis schools, Danville Community Schools, and Indianapolis Public Schools. Upon retirement she continued her volunteer work with St. Vincent de Paul, St. Joseph Parish youth groups and Cursillo.

Survivors include her children, Geoff (Jacki) Barbieri of MO, Aaron (Emily) Pfister of Williamsport, and Gerri (Douglas) Pagach of Speedway; grandchildren, Victor Barbieri, Kristin Pagach, Vincent Barbieri, Owen Pfister, and Elijah Pfister; brother, Gary (Marcia) Alexander of Mill Creek; and sisters, Mary (Joe) Alexander-Conte and Karen (Rick) Carter, both of West Lafayette. Pfamily and pfriends will gather for visitation Wed. , Jan.

23, 2019, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 3:30 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thurs. , Jan.

24, 2019, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 E. South Street, Lebanon. Bonnie will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lebanon. You are invited to visit the website at www.
