Obituary for Delores “Milky” Collins Delores (Milky) Ann Collins was born September 15, 1943 in Evansville, IN to Lula Bell Wilson and Richard Watkins. Delores accepted Christ at an early age being baptized in the Ohio River. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church for a number of years before joining Memorial Baptist Church where she worked diligently with the Culinary team.

Each Sunday, she faithfully sat in the 4th row from the back next to Ms. Christine Wagner. Delores was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and a best friend to many. She was known for her cooking with her specialty being her delicious Carmel Cake.

During her years of employment, Delores worked at Pearl Laundry and Kenmore Laundry. She retired from Holiday Retirement Center after many years of service. Delores was a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1961.

She spearheaded many of the activities for their reunions with her other classmates. She took great delight in preparing for the Lincoln Clark Douglass reunions; even making things happen from her sick bed. Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Kenneth Earl and Joseph Wilson; her sister: Betty Jean Wilson.

Delores leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 44 years: Leonard (Little Man) Collins; two sons: Tony Bolin, Leonard (Rico) Collins; sisters: Laura Shipp of Soddy Daisy, TN, Dianne McGuire, Pam Wilson; brother: John Wilson all of Evansville; 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Very special thanks to her sister-in-law Antoinette Collins, classmate Lillie Williams, and sister Dianne who provided her with loving care.
