Obituary for Delphine V. “Dolly” Hoffman Delphine V. “Dolly” Hoffman, Saginaw, Michigan. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center. Age 87 years.

Daughter of the late Martin and Caroline (Wrona) Jamrog, Delphine was born October 20, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Edward W. Hoffman Jr. on October 20, 1951. He predeceased her November 3, 2005.

Delphine had been employed by Vescio’s Food Store for 27 years. She was a member of SS. Casimir and George Catholic Church and past member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Irons, Michigan.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, the casinos and especially her family. Surviving to cherish her memory are one daughter and one son, Mary Kay and Victor Balzer, Saginaw; John and Dianne Hoffman, Kaleva, Michigan; two grandchildren, Nathan and Sarah Hoffman, Grand Haven; Wenona Balzer, Casper, Wyoming; three great-grandchildren, Henry and Hayes Hoffman, Grand Haven; Daxton Jones, Casper, Wyoming; her brother, Thomas Jamrog; three sisters, Joan Ray, Barbara Freeman, Mary Ann Slagle; many nieces and nephews. Delphine was preceded in death by her son, James Hoffman and brothers, Harry and Joseph Jamrog.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11,2018 at St Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Casimir Catholic Church, 2122 S. Jefferson Ave. , Saginaw. Rev.

Fr. Thomas Schmied, OFM Cap. will officiate with burial in Mt.

Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
