Obituary for Dennis Alden Lee Cox Dennis Alden Lee Cox, age 74, passed away on October 27, 2018 at Mountain Point Medical Center due to a stroke. He was born on November 19, 1943 in Maywood, CA to Amy Ardell Anderson and Lloyd Lee Cox. He married Barbara Jeanette Reeves.

Dennis’ family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where he graduated from West High School. Following his High School graduation he joined the United States Navy where he served two tours in Vietnam, upon completion he received an honorable discharge for his service. He met Barbara Reeves, they married and settled in Downey, CA where their son Jim and daughter Laura were born.

Dennis worked in the Aerospace and Steel Industry. After retiring, he and Barbara moved to Utah. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; Son, Jim Cox; Daughter, Laura Evora; Grandsons Harley Smith and Evan Evora; Granddaughter, Kelly Cox; Brother, Ron (Cindy) Cox; Nieces, Monica, Danelle, Nanette and Jennifer along with their families.

He was preceded in death by his parent, Amy Ardell Anderson and Lloyd Lee Cox. A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 88 West Harbor Parkway Saratoga Springs, UT 84045. Interment will follow at the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 17111 South Camp Williams Road Bluffdale, UT 84065.
