DEVIN DEAN DIXON, age 48, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 4:20 p.m. at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center after a long battle with leukemia. He was born on May 20, 1969 in Fayette County to Dean R. and Carolyn K. Trimble Dixon. He was a 1987 graduate of Washington High School and later attended Richland Community College for welding and fabrication.

Devin was self-employed, owner and operator of D&D Home Improvements. He attended the Spirit of Truth Church on Robinson Rd. Devin was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, step-father, grandfather, and brother.

He enjoyed going to the flea market, listening to country music, tinkering in his shed, and being with his family and grandchildren. Devin was preceded in death by his father, Dean Dixon; and his grandparents, Orville and Laura Dixon, and John and Kitty Trimble. Survivors include his wife, Sally Gilmore; his mother, Carolyn Dixon; children, Corless Dixon and her fiance, Jordan Woods, and Bethany (Daniel) Rinehart; step-children, Hayley Gilmore, Bethany (Daniel) Ogden, Joshua Gilmore, and Garrett Taylor; grandchildren, Lynndi and Hayden Dixon, Makayla Woods, and Haley and Damian Rinehart; sister, Dawn Carter; and nieces, Michaela and Kelsey Carter.

Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. The graveside service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville with Pastor Don Young officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home.
