Don Eddy Ramsey, 76, of Horse Branch, Kentucky went to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 13, 1941 in Central City, Kentucky to the late Harold C. Ramsey and Gertrude Jamison Crowder. Mr. Ramsey retired from Peabody Coal Company and was a member of Horse Branch Christian Church.

He enjoyed pitching horse shoes, riding motorcycles, Quail field trials, and going on his bivouacs. Aside from his parents Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by a son, Robin Coleman Ramsey and daughter, Leslie Beth Ramsey. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 57 years, Betty Sue Ramsey of Horse Branch, a son, Jarrod (Dana) Ramsey of Bowling Green; a daughter, Donna (Ricky) Nance of Centertown; 7 grandchildren, Kassidy, Jonah, Luke, Lydia, Andrew, Levi Ramsey, and Ramsey (Chas) Bearse; two sisters, Sheila Collins and Marketta (Elmer) Daugherty; two step brothers, Phil Crowder and Steve (Gerry) Crowder; two step sisters, Sharon Crowder Gilburd and Teresa Wright; and his loyal companion, Honey.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home with Andy Purcell and Macy Purcell officiating. Burial will follow in Rosine Cemetery in Rosine, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mr. Ramsey’s family Tuesday from 10:30 A.M. until the service at the funeral home.
