Obituary for Donald H. Fisher Fisher, Donald H. of Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully, losing his battle to cancer, on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at his family’s home surrounded by his family. He was 62 years old. Donald Henry Fisher was born on October 8, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to Henry Stark and Delores May (Beck) Fisher.
He was a proud 1973 graduate of Dwight D. Eisenhower High School. Following graduation, Don attended Delta College. He worked for many event centers across the Great Lakes Bay Region, most recently working as a Tech Services Manager with the Lansing Convention Center.
He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, a life member of Saginaw Field and Stream and a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). Above all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his mother, Delores M. Fisher of Saginaw; a daughter, Darcy C. (Michael) Baker of Saginaw; and two granddaughters: Sadie LaLone and Scarlette Baker of Saginaw.
Also surviving are many cousins, extended family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry S. Fisher; and a brother, Gerald A. Fisher. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd.
(off State). Rev. Matthew Hauser will officiate.
Burial will follow in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 16, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
