Obituary for Janet Lee Strudgeon Janet Lee Strudgeon, Saginaw, Michigan. Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at St. Francis Home. Age 72 years.

Daughter of the late Herman and Elizabeth (Hellus) Lamblin, Janet was born May 18, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Ray Charles Strudgeon on January 1, 1967. He predeceased her July 2, 2003.

Janet was a secretary at Coty’s General Truck Repair. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Single Purpose and Help Mates at Peace Lutheran Church. Janet enjoyed dancing, camping and especially family and friends.

Surviving to cherish her memory are two sons, David Strudgeon, Pooler, Georgia; Sean and Melissa Strudgeon, Pooler, Georgia; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers, Patricia (the late Everett) Borske, Leola Bitterman, Jean (the late Edward) Griffor, Catherine (the late David) Garrison, Nancy and James McDowell, Jim and Mary Lamblin, Eugene and Rose Lamblin; many nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Wenzel and three brothers, Clarence (Rosealean) Lamblin, Albert (Gloria) Lamblin Sr. and Edward Lamblin Sr. Celebration of Life Service will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty).

Elder Clarence Lamblin Jr. will officiate with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, Michigan. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
