Obituary for Israel “Mono” Guijosa, Jr. Guijosa, Israel Jr. “Mono” of Saginaw, Michigan Beloved father, son, and brother passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at his home. He was 31 years old. Israel Guijosa, Jr. was born on June 25, 1987 in Saginaw, Michigan to Israel and Elizabeth (Delgado) Guijosa, Sr. Mono was a football enthusiast often cheering for his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.
When he was younger, Mono enjoyed tinkering and working on his car, as well as, playing video games. He was an intelligent man, having both a mechanical and technical mind, and could often solve or fix any type of electronic devices. Mono also enjoyed camping with family and friends, swimming, and playing football with his son.
He was a great cook and griller, often creating his own recipes. Mono was a very passionate debater and fond of expressing his own opinions and ideas. Above all, he loved and cherished his time spent with his parents, sisters, cousins and friends, but more so than anything else, Mono loved being with his children.
He will forever be remembered for his gentle and kind heart, his generosity and his wonderful and lighthearted sense of humor. Surviving are two sons and two daughters: Israel Guijosa III, Briseis Guijosa, Ezekiel Guijosa and Serenity Guijosa all of Saginaw; parents, Elizabeth Guijosa of Saginaw and Israel Guijosa, Sr. and his wife, Amalia Perez of Fort Worth, TX; three sisters: Rebecca (Tony) Tracy of Midland, Patricia Guijosa of Saginaw and Anjela Guijosa of Dallas, TX; a grandfather, Larry Delgado, Sr. of Saginaw; and two nieces and two nephews: Leah, Carlos, Cristiana and Cristian; Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Rebecca B. Delgado, Jesus Guijosa and Anjela Santillan.
FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev.
Ted McCulloch will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to an education fund for his children to be determined.
