Obituary for Lois L. Fruk Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully Sunday, July 8, 2018. Age 82 years. Daughter of the late Gerald and Mary (Morrison) Federspiel, Lois was born January 26, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She was married to Ronald Fruk until 1979. Lois was a volunteer in the Saginaw County Foster Grandparent Program for 13 years at Chester Miller School. She enjoyed many crafts and especially spending time with her family and friends.

She was a kind, caring, spirited person loved by all. Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters and four sons, Crystal May, Steven (Lori) Fruk, Kathleen (Dennis) Ancil, Gerald (Mary) Fruk, Ronald II (Shellie) Fruk, R. Scott (Debbie) Fruk; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janet (Richard) Harris, Dolores Gustat, Linda (Ruben) Torres; her brother, Gary (Rusty) Bonnell; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N Center Rd.

(between Shattuck and McCarty). Her nephew, Rev. Duane Harris will officiate with burial in Lafayette Township Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family or bring children’s books to be donated in her honor.
