Obituary for Bro. Roman Deicoe Washington Roman Deico Washington went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2018 in Flint, Michigan at the age of 39 years. He was born June 28, 1978 in Saginaw, Michigan to Brenda Washington and Sam Baker.

Roman was a very special person. He would do what he could for anybody at any time. He was a very respectful person, enjoyed people and life to the fullest.

Roman was a member of D.V.D. (Developing Victorious Disciples) Ministries with Pastor Theodore and 1st Lady Charity Watson in Saginaw, MI where he was very active in the church. He loved singing in the choir and being with the church family. Roman attended the Millet Learning Center and later, in 2004 graduated from the Saginaw Transitional Center.

Roman had a deep passion for cars. His hobbies were collecting model cars, especially older models and those that were custom made. His saying was, “that’s my car”.

He also loved dancing and singing. Those that knew him best, named his special dance, “The Roman”. Roman leaves to cherish his memory, one sister and one brother, Elbony and Ta’Vearia Washington, Sr. both of Saginaw; two nieces, Savanna Lee, and De’Arria Allen both of Saginaw; four nephews, De’Quevion Smother’s, De’Andre Allen, Lamarrion Roby and Ta’Vearia Washington, Jr. all of Saginaw; two great-nieces and one great-nephew, Kennedy, Kendall and Orlando Jimenez; four aunts, Rhoda Hannible of Tuscaloosa, AL, Al Benadette Lee of Saginaw, and Pamela Lee of Flint, MI, Cynthia Lee of Grand Rapids; two uncles, Samuel Lee of Grand Rapids, MI and Claude (Genita) Wills of Saginaw; a host cousins that truly love him, Reena (Bobby) Meredith of Kirkland, WA, Stephanie Jones of Tuscaloosa, AL, Africa, Carl, Derrick and Lakisha Brown, Antione (Santoya), Cheryl, Gernell, Lavonda, Deanna, Samantha, Donta (Ashleigh), Tinesha and Walter (Victoria) Lee III, Ricky (Eugenia) Adam, Jr., Christell Lee, Whitley and Katricia Harris, James Tinsley, Kareem, Ebony and Alicia Stuckey, Claude, Jr., Jermaine and Tyriel Wills, Karl (Latoyi) Harris, Jason (Felica) Harris, Janice and Janae Harris, Kathy Williams, all of Saginaw, Martina Harmon of Grand Rapids, MI, Antionette Little of Flint, Brandy, Brandon and Samuel Lee-Thomas of Bay City, MI, Katrina (Joshua) Dugan of Flint, MI, Quinette (Randy) Tarnner of Milwaukee, WI, and a long list (too many to name) of other dear family members and friends.

The family would like to thank some people who played a very special part in Roman’s life in these 39 years. Aunts Earline and Wilma Collin, aunt, Lillie Hopkins, Shevonna, Chelise, Harry III, Sade, DeMarris and Kevin Bond, Rodney Marshall-Cannon, Tequila and Uniqua Jones, Deandre Meredith, Gregory Wicker, Debra Mason, Anthony Ware, Sr., Demishea McKnight, and Santana Beverly. Roman was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Washington; father, Sam Baker; grandparents, Walter and Willie Mae Lee, Sr.; uncles, Walter Lee, Jr., Carl Washington, Carl (cool Carl) Washington; aunt, Alesha Lee; cousins, Clestine Harris, Cherly and Greg Davis.

The family expresses special thanks to the staff of St. Rita’s, the Melvin G. Millet Center family, the Saginaw Transitional Center, family, friends and neighbors of Wisher Street, the Modope CNA at MediLodge of Grand Blanc, Curtis and Sheryl Winters of First Baptist Church and Pastor and 1st Lady Charity Watson. . Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Mt.

Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, 1111 North 29th Street. Pastor Willie Hill, Host Pastor and Pastor Theodore Watson will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington, Saginaw, MI 48601.
