Donald Marshall Tallman, 86, was the third son of 10 brothers and 2 sisters born to C. Walter & Margaret (VanderLey) Tallman, on August 6, 1931 in Guthrie Center, Iowa. He passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, one day prior to his 70th High School reunion, near Templeton, Iowa in Carroll County. Don started life on the family farm near Guthrie Center.

After high school, he left the farm to work for the Southern Pacific Railroad in California.
