Obituary for Doris J. Davis Doris J. Davis, 84, of Wapakoneta, died 6:51 p.m., Sun. April 15, 2018, at the Marcy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born Nov.

26, 1933, in Lexington, KY, the daughter of Oscar & Christine (Perraut) Leece, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 31, 1957, she married Roger R. Davis, and he survives.

Other survivors include, 4 children, Jeannie (John) Schlenker, Wapakoneta, Jim Davis, Trenton, NJ, Tina (Dave) Maurer, New Bremen, Ed (Hollie Bays) Davis, Wapakoneta, 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Davis, Tracy Schlenker, Kim, Tom, & Joe Maurer, Tyler Giles, Libby Florian, She was preceded in death by a sister, Julia M. Agee, and a brother, Robert L. Leece. A homemaker, Doris also worked as a home health care provider. She enjoyed reading and loved to spend time with her family.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Sat. April 21, 2018, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, Rev.

Ed Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Fri.
