Dorothy G. Vrudney, age 97, of Murrysville passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was born April 15, 1921 in Sardis, daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle Cole Silvis. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, Delmont, PA.

and was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Vrudney in 2001 and two sisters, Jennie Peterson and Thelma Tomer. Dorothy is survived by three children, Penny (David) Carroll of Apollo, Gary (Kathy) Vrudney of Murrysville and Robin (Roger) Coldren of Export; seven grandchildren, Keith Vrudney, James Carroll, Kevin Vrudney, Jennifer Carroll Moody, Shawn Coldren, Kelly Coldren and Brooke Price and eight great grandchildren. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.

A service will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Dr. Ronald W. Raptosh officiating. Interment will follow in the Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum Boro.
